Good luck finding a run like that.
Most of the long hauls go on the Team Choice board.

You can find longer runs but they don't pay anywhere near that..at least from what I've seen.

Heated/cooled seats? I didn't even know they make trucks with that. Do they?

This has a system called "wingman" which I guess is the similar as onguard but just a different brand.
And yes it has that predictive cruise.

How are the numbers for running out of Texas? I live 30mins east of Huntsville, TX. About 90miles from North Houston.

There is a LOT is regional freight around Texas that pays well.
Trying to leave that TX, OK market doesn't pay that good.

I've seen good rates going into Texas a lot but trying to leave it's always trash which is why personally I have yet to go into Texas.
Now if I lived there and wanted to be near the house and do well.. that is a good region.
There's a few here on this forum that do that.

I'm more of just OTR and run where the money is.

I've been OTR for the past 3 and half years and before that was in the service. So, I have missed a lot at home with the kids and wife. So, yeah, if I can be near home and run around TX and OK and make good money, I will be happy.

Being paid by the mile and running reefer is getting old for me also. Tired of chasing miles. I'm happy with the company I'm currently with, but miles ain't everything.

I don't know what good money is, that's different for everybody.
However staying within that market you won't have to worry about cheap freight and there's always loads from what I've seen.
Currently being paid by the mile eh? Every place that pays by the mile I've always seen it's less than $1.50, more often around $1.15-$1.30 which is trash.
No matter where you go % is the way to go.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.
