    3450 with the new maps.

If you are showing 3422, then you probably are still on the old maps.

The library might have throttled you down. It usually takes 30 minutes or less on a high speed network.

    Thanks,
    Mark

You did not get updated. You should have about 4.x gb on the SD Card.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I would not recommend Wi-Fi to download the maps. It may have downloaded, but did you push the button to push the updates to the TND?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Here is another example of RM crappy routing. Nakusp BC to Colorado Springs CO. All is good till Laurel MT where the routing wants to exit I-90 and take the 212 to the 310 and the 26 to Casper to meet up with I-25 and go to Denver and Colorado Sprgs. This route is 15mi and 15 min longer than staying on I-90 and I-25. This route also has lots of 2 lane roads instead of staying on the Interstates which is far more practical for Semi Trailer traffic.
I myself have very little faith in RM routing anymore and the need to double check routs all the time is unsatisfactory. I have posted on crappy routing in the past in the hopes that it would get better but it seems RM is more interested in adding bells and whistles than improve the routing algorithms.
    Just my $.002 worth.

I tried each setting and they all took I90 over to I25 down to Colorado, Springs. Change your setting to prefer freeways and if it still routes you on the 212, then you might have an avoid road/area set on I-25.

    Thanks,
    mark

This happened on my wife's 720 a few days ago and she called me on it to double check. A few wks ago her unit stopped working altogether with navi exe error and as she was in Oregon she took it to Dieselboss who was cracious enough to fix her unit and get her on her way.
I have been finding with my own 720, that after normal use and hooking it up to my pc and running diagnostics, that there are always at least 22 corrupted files. Maybe the older units are not powerful enough to run the mapping programs anymore and as it's only a couple yrs old I find this unsatisfactory.
Ever since my first unit the 700 I've had some pretty wacky routing which at the time frustrated the hell out of me and I personally don't intend to upgrade every yr.
As with many users of the RM product, my wife is not very tecky and relies on the unit a lot, so if it doesn't work as it should she is lost till she phones me or takes the time to look at her map book LOL.
I programmed her unit so I know there are no restrictions so for whatever the reason of it screwing up it's not a satisfactory condition.
I like the TND interface but routing has always been a thorn in my side and using the compare route function is usually a waste of time as it usually adds hundreds of miles to the trip.
As usual I appreciate what you do on this site and maybe in the future RM might just get the routing algorithms to use Practical routing for 75 ft vehicles.
    Thanks
    John
