2010 maxforce 13 will not do passive regen.

    Check the air to air clamps and hoses. Check for faint black staining from the solid air piping in between the joints. Recommend to pressure test the air to air. I am sorry to say, but the hp turbo was not designed for easy inspection/servicing. If you have no warranty and more than 7000 hours I would also consider trading it in and cutting losses.

    Put all new seals on turbo tubing, replaced breather canister, IT STILL WHISTLE!
    Pulling 36000 in the box and she has no power on hills, like it aint building boost. When i had it tore down, i saw what seem to be a rubber vacuum tube just hanging, where it or what it goes to , i don't know, boost solenoid, waste gate? Did not remove turbos.

    There are two actuators, one like a hydraulic cylinder, and a small vacuum servo, should ibe able to move the rod with my hand or pry? I can get movement on the cylinder type, no movement on the vacuum

    I'm still thinking the High Per turbo has bit the dust. If you get it to a dealer they can put it under stress and know right away if its building boost. Your chasing parts here.

    Especially if you can let on and off the fuel and make it sound like a Police car. ;)

    The vacuum servo looking thing is your boost control actuator. If the rod is stuck out it will dump all the boost out the exhaust. That rod only moves about 11mm, so it is hard to tell by looking at it. Any dealer can perform an actuator test and cycle the wastegate. The linkage can get seized and it can stick in the open position.

    I'm having the same trouble with my 2012 ProStar MaxxForce 13 i'm doing parked regens every 200 miles.
    cleaned DOC and DPF changed my after treatment injector nothing worked.

    Are you still having regen issues with your truck my truck is doing the same thing
