Oh, yeah. It's part of my wake up routine. Look through the curtains out the front window, try to remember where I'm at and if have an appointment I'm supposed to get to or not.

On a side note in my previous life, I had a stretch where I, flew to NC, stayed at airport hotel, had a meeting in the morning. Flew back home to California that evening. Went home, got my car drove to SF. Went to a park and fly hotel, hopped a flight to Singapore. After 3 days, flew back to SF, arriving the night before the morning I left Singapore. Spent the night in the hotel. Drove home, grabbed a shuttle to the airport, flew to Colorado Springs for a 2 day meeting. Then drove to Denver for a day and night, flew back home ... went to bed early. Wife walks in the bedroom, I came out of dead sleep yelling at her to get out of my hotel room ... She just said you're home, shut up and go back to sleep. ... Trucking is easy.

 

Omg!! Totally laughing my butt off. That's the kind of life I Think I would love to have.

 

The traveling sounds exciting ... the 18 to 20 hour work days that go with it, not so much.

 

Been truckin for 22yrs. I've had many of those 20hr days. I just like to travel. So many people never even leave the state in which they were born in.

 

I went to high school with kids that had never been out of the county, let alone out of the state

 

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it riding the Gravy Train......

 

You know this isnt the first time you had this problem...
