Bummer if they don't like it , you are a human being in need of facility's and a safe place to park ..if you could predict the future ya wouldn't be driving a truck .

Change to the 16 hour rule. You're allowed more time due to inclement weather and traffic conditions.

This is not a traffic backup this is an interstate shutdown because a truck overturned. So if it took hours to clear the road what do you do if you run out of hours to drive? You are allowed to safely get the truck to the nearest truck stop? or do you pull over to the side of the road when it starts moving?

A lightning bolt isn't gona shoot outa the heavens and kill your truck and you not gona go to hell over it ..go to next truckstop and take you're time off ..ya mite get a call from safety Dept tmw and explain the situation ..no big deal .
