Thanks that is good to hear. So they ended his contract and took the loss? I feel bad but I not sure if I should try for vans or not. I am going to call my recruiter tomorrow and see what they say. I will give you an update.

Once again thanks for all of the advice and responses. If anyone else knows of someone who had a similar experience please let me know as I am nervous.

Here's some more companies to try since you already have a cdl.
You don't need another physical with these companies, but they will want to see your long form maybe.
    TransAm
    Freymiller
    Magnum Ltd.
    J&R Schugel
    Paschall Truck Lines

No experience required for any of the above companies; just a cdl and cdl school diploma.
If any website has "experience required" then the website isn't up to date.
Do the online applications then follow with a phone call tomorrow and say "I'm checking on my job application."

No, SNI paid it in full. He owes a year or pay back according to the contract.

Van does this too also , it shouldn't, IN THEORY, be an issue.

Meaning I am out of a contract and I do not have to pay them back or I can go van and not have to pay them back? Or I'm screwed?

I'm guessing you mean I go van and then I don't have to pay them back.

Van side offers the same paid tuition on some jobs. So , time will tell what they say. Call them in the morning. Being first day back from holiday, it may be smart to wait til mid morning or so GB time to make that call.

My thoughts fwiw, is SNI has already invested in you, seems to make sense to a steering wheel holding monkey like myself , they will want to utilize that investment.

Can also just go with another company and maybe you'll never hear anything about it.

So I'm assuming I shouldn't call my recruiter then? I'm assuming that Schneider won't forget about this. Though I wish what you posted would happen as I wish they tested me before the contract was signed and they told me about the weight restriction on the ladder bars as well because if you look at me, you can guess that I am over 300 easily but the Interview was done over the phone.

There is also an issue about my weight and the tanker ladder bars as I was told they have a weight restriction. But nobody seems to know what the weight restriction is as they said 300, 350, 450, and 500. Different folks said different things. I weigh over 350 so the doctor who administered my test ever to inquire but nobody had an answer for me and they gave me the above numbers.

Either way I have decided that I need to make some changes regarding my physical health and am looking at a personal trainer and dietician I know. I'm embarrassed and angry at myself.

. I also wanted to know if you were being serious? Does stuff like that happen? And will this go on my DAC as I don't want to get blacklisted as a driver before I even start.

Happens every day. Sometimes you get a bill in the mail and other times you never hear anymore about it. There's 100's of posts very similar to yours. I think you can make much more money with the companies I listed. It's not that Schneider is a bad company, because it's a pretty good company overall. Most complaints I've read are that solo drivers in van division don't make good money; of course, not all van drivers make small paychecks, but many do. Many Magnum Ltd. drivers make over a thousand a week.
Freymiller trucks are set up nice for the driver; check their website. They also hire drivers that just graduated from cdl school; no experience required.
