We pulled our first flatbed load with our Volvo 780 and had no problems. This load was up in the mountains west of Denver, but since our truck is viper red I knew it could handle it.
Am I out of my mind for wanting to do this ?

I preferred Must Tarp Load but live your dream.
No matter your starter company keep your record crystal clean and you can get the comfortable job after a year or two. You can get those right out of the gate depending your area.
