Swift do a lot of freight in Mississippi? With backing it's about setting up before you do. Getting out to look. Then you just make small adjustments to line up. Good luck

Im slowly improving still hitting some cones here and there and oversteer or under steer on alley docking especially. I always wind up with the trailer outside the passenger cones like im holding that first right or second left too long
-
It's all about small adjustments while turning the wheel to pivot the trailer. Slow n easy.
Puppage Thanks this. -
So you hardly ever turn the wheel all the way. Just sometimes you must turn fast and others you turn slow. With alley docking if i look out the window and watch the trailer i do pretty good but when i try using my mirrors i struggle

You'll get the hang of it. I still have days where I can't back up for crap and get frustrated
Puppage and austinmike Thank this. -
Parallel parking i hit a few cones but can straighten it up, alley dock and off set kill me though. Its taken me 3 pullups and 6 goals to offset and 3 pullups and 2 goals to alley dock.

In the real world, nobody is gonna care how many times you get out and look, sure somebody might get impatient but they'll get over it, but you start backing into stuff and they'll send you packing pretty quick. So don't worry about having to getting out of the truckHotH2o Thanks this. -
Yeah but that kills points on the test
Canned Spam Thanks this.
