Finally getting off breakdown 1 week and 3 days later ...why you ask ask our shop 4 days of that waiting for approval of repairs ...I’m guessing the Richmond yard is still the fastest band aid you can get at this company want your issue fixed? Go to kenworth and wait ...new driver positively pissed

Handy tip: If you have an issue that doesn't need immediate attention, try and get it to the West Memphis yard.

Were you really down for 10 days? That's nuts. Hope you put in for breakdown for all those days.

They usually offer me a loaner if they know my truck is gonna be down for a couple days. I'm not a huge fan of loaners, because it's like driving someone else's bedroom around. But it's better than doing nothing.

I broke down 80 miles from home on Monday air leak which I had in the Richmond yard shop 3 days prior for 5 total issues they fixed batteries and one air bag overlooking another leaking airbag never touched my bunk heater that was on the list for maintenance and not working , I delivered in Florida on Monday and air leak was getting worse as day went on called breakdown and they sent me to within 15 miles of home , I had hometime Friday through Sunday so left it at kenworth Orlando and went home called daily until Thursday and not again til ready to go get it Monday am called kenworth they inform me shop failed to approve all repairs Thursday through Monday called Richmond Monday am for approval for repairs finally and kenworth needed parts ordered finally called me tonight telling me it was done and paid for and I could get it 8am Thursday... I’ve put in for breakdown and will again for all but 3 days which were my legit hometime

4 days for approval and frankly kenworth has to fix what I listed on write up in Richmond 48 hrs on Richmond yard bandaids on 2 of 5 issues 3 issues ignored and sorry breakdown pay doesn’t compensate for miles

I’d love to have everything done in West Memphis but can’t seem to get routed there personally I wanna understand why the main office and shop for my company can’t do their job I know it’s not personal and a growing issue with many drivers when will it be made right I’m honestly considering job hunting I do my job and am held to appointment times which I’ve always met I’m about done I won’t even go into every paycheck I’ve gotten here has been wrong and had to fight to get straight and fair ... not sure who’s running this s operation but I came here with great optimism and had great training everything else seriously screwed

No, but I don't intend to train so not sure how much of a pay cut that would be.

No-one would know how much of a pay cut as it would be dependant on how many miles you ran. Stay out and run everything they give you and 70- 75% of his figure is achievable.

And your starting CPM will be different. A first year driver here should make $52k. Based on my CPM and taking out training, with as much time off as I take, I would make $65k as a solo per year.

At least you got notice I usually don't find out until I call, ask to speak to my DM then get told they moved to another dept.

As long as the loads keep coming, right?

I guess I should thank my lucky stars that I've had the same DM since Day 1.

Yep! I hope the loads do keep coming; Talking I think to my new Abilene DM he sounds young and with no experience! That worries me! Will see.
