I see today President Trump is thinking about withdrawing ICE agents from California because state officials refuse to cooperate with enforcing immigration laws. Wow.

PA is salt of the Earth
NY is opportunity
But CA is the best State in the Union, 2nd place not even close.
Why did good people abandon It? Fight for what you love. -
Found a better place for me so I moved away....... I just finalized the divorce. -
All those Valley Girls would have so much to show around. He he he. What a shame.

California is the best state in the country to truck in.
12 & 16, not 11 & 14
Paper, not Elogs
Best food
Best weather
Plenty of parking (If you know where to find it)
I will argue that the CHP is more professional organization to deal with than many others.
No other state can offer the variety of year round entertainment & recreational opportunities. For all this I will put up the the stupid gun laws, moron Punjabi immigrants, insane real estate prices, and a local economy driven by commercial marijuana cultivation (They do provide a large amount of freight to the trucking industry)
Last year I said screw Elogs, parked my truck & retired to a California intrastate gig. Wish I'd done this 40 years ago, I'd probably be better off financially, I know I'd have a lot less experience throwing chains.
All you haters please stay away, I don't need your competition LOL.joshuapowell61, Lepton1, REO6205 and 1 other person Thank this. -
To each his own.. I'm leaving a 90k a year local job here in California to get the hell out. This place is a hell hole.. You can't find a home for under $500k unless you live in the desert of the Central Valley.. Traffic is non-stop no matter where you go and the fees they tack on to everything makes this place unbearable. Sure, the weather is super nice.. Sure, the scenery is beautiful.. But it's time for me to leave.. I have been 12 years accident free until this past year 2 illegal aliens with no license or insurance lost control of their cars and hit me.. I will never look back.

"My company has no problem with CA. I don't much like it there, but oh well.
Then again, I am not an O/O that has to either avoid it or pay up.
Thing is, CA is fine with their regs because many large companies will still operate there. The smaller ones that don't want to don't even matter to them. They won't starve."
