I never said that we should feel bad. Each person is going to fell what they want. But, it does suck for that drivers family. They are the ones that are going to feel bad and have to live with the knowledge that their family member killed themselves with stupidity.
Hey guys I have a question can we have inverters on our truck that we install or can we get our contract canceled for installing them ourselves? I have to go by yard and need advice
I have a carrier but I also installed my own inverter , I had another JCT driver tell me I could be fired for that. Is that true , should I unhook it before I go to yard?
Ohhhhhhh...now I see. I have no clue. I'd say yes to yanking it just to be safe but at the same time, I'm not even sure if they would be looking for something like that, especially since they are out of the way and nearly every truck has an inverter now, and you having a Carrier they probably wouldent even think its out of place, if its installed "Professionally". Then again, I've seen the shop turn in a driver for having an alcohol container in the truck when he came in for a truck service.
Let's try to avoid crass comments on a fellow driver who died in the line of duty (thin the herd, and stupidity) because their families (wives, sons, daughters, etc) may do an internet search years later and be hurt by those comments about their loved one, just saying.....
So we have to worry about upsetting people...no wonder society has turned into a bunch of cupcakes..smh
