    My daughter dried a pair of FT pants for me. Guess she used a bit to high of temp. When I pulled them out if the dryer they woulda fit a munchkin

    ? Wierd...

    ... maybe she set the dryer temp all the way to hotter than Hades...

    I dry mine at a moderate setting and haven't had any issues.

    Not sure although I'm guessing it was way to hot. I just hang em after washing

    If I am washing normal Goretex I never put them in a dryer at all. They are drip dried. Goretex is laminated to the outer layer with microdots of adhesive. A hot dryer will destroy that layer of adhesion. I dripped dried my Goretex jackets and pants.

    Anyone else color code their chains? 4’ with red hooks and 8’ with green hooks.

    I carry 10 20 foot chains you might have a great idea on shorter chains how many do you carry and what lengths

    I was carrying some chains without a hook on one end but had chain pockets. this worked good on machinery where the tie down holes were to small for chain hooks to fit thru
