When you notice a flip-flop wearing yutz standing behind you in line, take a unexpected step back (onto their unprotected toes), and then "whoops...sorry, that wouldn't hurt so bad if you were wearing shoes...you headin to the beach?"

Back out after a weekend home. Picked up in Henderson NC Iams and dropping at Pet smart DC in Newnan GA in the morning. Skip over to Fairburn for more pet food to DG in Alachua FLfor Wed.at 10am. Probably to Wal-Mart literally around the corner for chep pallets headed north. Probably to a drop yard near me. Peace!

No chep pallets load for me. Dropped off the dog food at the Wal-Mart instead of Dollar General. Load changed. Picked up.an empty to get a broker load down in Tampa coming back to the Atlanta area. On the way down, I stopped to sweep out the trailer and then noticed a large hole in the corner front driver side where the sun was shining through. Since I Dropped and hooked at 630am, I couldn't or didn't see the hole as the sun had not come up yet. Called dispatch he said take it there and see what happens. I wasn't feeling good about this as this was a furniture load going back to the shipper. But, on I went.

When I arrived, the girl told me that CHR double booked the load and since I was.second, it was "goodbye to me". I was glad though because, I didn't have to expose my "compromised" trailer. Went up the road to the Ocala Petro and kickback in the sleeper while I wait for them to patch tape my trailer. What a day!

Part II. Sat waiting at the Petro a couple of hours before they pulled me up to a bay door. They pulled the ladder up to the damaged area and then.......Did absolutely nothing. Two hours waiting and then another hour to determine that the damage is too extensive to take patch it or anything. To take it to a trailer repair facility.

They called our maintenance and used a bunch of f-bombs. How professional. By this time, it's 445pm and they got me out of their bay. Dispatch calls me and tells me to take this trailer back to Alachua Wal-Mart and let them load this trailer with pallets going to Omaha. Our guys can repair off afterwards. I will do it after the sun comes up and after I get a shower. Yesterday, they eluded me. The Loves in Lake City, FL was completely dark as I approached with my shower bag. No power, no shower. Then tried again at the TA in Wildwood. No credits left. What? Do they fall off after six days, now?? I will just use points here at the Petro. What a day. Yesterday, I was the bug, and not the windshield. Smush!

Lake City got some bad storms the other day. That part of the county was under a tornado warning. My son-in-law works for a company in Lake City and said it was a mess the next morning on his way into work.

The required attire where I work is long trousers (most wear jeans), shirts with sleeves and steel toed boots.

And, most of our customers require PPE including high vis vest, hard hat, and safety glasses.

Btw, you FCC pilgrims should check out the FCC thread in the bad company section. Lol
