The J in Lebanon IN has a great bar right next to the parking lot. Within 2 minutes of locking my truck, I'm on a stool. Killer food too. Bottoms Up is the name of the bar. Exit 139 on 65.

Not sure which pic you're referring to. And yup, I'm around tomorrow. Should be up around 2:30 or so to slap in my contacts, grab some coffee, and get rolling. Probably gonna have to grab fuel here too which sucks, because their IFTA contribution is a joke. But, the beast is thirsty.

Lucky you. I'm burning the end of my cycle now. It's a mad struggle to pack in as many loads as possible before Friday at at 2pm lol.

In this climate I don't understand how the burnt trailer happens, especially with automatic trucks. My Jake never gets shut off. Not ever. I'll turn it down if I'm empty or if it's raining or snowing. But it never gets turned off. Trailer fires happen from hot brakes or lack of bearing fluid, or both. Pretrips, man, pretrips. And use you dam jake.

Not brakes on this one, a blown trailer tire that was not detected until the wheel was on fire. Based on the damage listed the worst case scenario then happened.

I've had several trailer tires blow, both duals and super singles. Each time I immediately knew that it happened both by sound and / or mirror checks.

I feel that if someone doesn't hear the tire blowing, they are oblivious. It literally sounds like a shotgun blast. Even if your windows are up and you have the radio on, you'll know it when you hear it. No matter if you drive for yourself or someone else, you should have the basic wherewithal to pay attention to that. Especially since it can kill you.
