How big are "big squares"? I thought we were talking regular bales. Ive chucked and stacked regulars. Not sure of the difference.

Like 3x3x8. Some are 4x4x8. Bout 900-1200 a piece. Used to see lots of alfalfa brought into Bama in the big squares.

3'×3'×8' or 4'×4'×8'.
Back when I grew wheat I only ever had one tractor with a loader on it for handling big square straw bales. And of course it had to be in the field to load with.
Soooo dumb bull bohemian I used to be would roll them off the truck at home by hand. Then run the tractor home to stack with at the end of the day.

The O’l bucket of bolts been packing 42-44,000 quite a bit lately, unusually heavy for what I do lol. She probably deserves a little break, seeing hows she just a old decrepit has been bucket or bolts.....
