Hell just read the reviews of Heartland on this site. Specifically the thread where Heartland bought Interstate out.....

Yes it will take bout 6months or so before we start feeling the effects and changes.

    From the article Keen posted
Heartland acquired 100% of the equity of Millis and related companies, which included entities owning eleven terminal locations which includes five MTI driver school locations. For the twelve months ended June 30, 2019, Millis and related entities generated approximately $152 million in total revenue, and the operations were profitable. The enterprise value of the transaction was approximately $150 million. Including the payoff of all assumed debt, which is expected by December 31, 2019, the transaction was all cash except for approximately $750,000 in Heartland stock. The purchase agreement contains customary terms and conditions, including working capital and other purchase price adjustments. The transaction is expected to be accretive to Heartland's earnings in the first full quarter of operations.

Dont worry for now. Things should remain the same for 6 to 8 months or so Id imagine. By then you'll have almost your whole year in. Finish out your training with this awesome ###### trainer I hear you have and worry about it when things start changing. The good thing about a CDL is get 1 yr exp and be accident free and you can quit your job in the morning, and be hired at a new 1 in the afternoon.

Just got wait it out and see I suppose. There are only a couple of drivers out here that I pay any attention too. Yeah and a couple of you are in that category.
Majority of reviews for any trucking company are negative. Worst comes to worst I will leave the same way I came, looking for a job.

More importantly where is my safety bonus? Is this the week we get it?

Knight bought us, they bought Swift. It’s been 19 months since our buyout. I’ve been here 7 years and was just as sick about the news when it broke as you all are feeling. I don’t know what changes are in store for you folks, but when we got bought out, I had to stop listening to all the clubhouse lawyers.

19 months later, my miles are the same, they instituted some procedures for making load planning easier, we got a raise in our bonuses. My job with the buyout is a little better then before the buyout.

I do know we are left alone as a wholly owned subsidiary of Knight. Basically, we the company, make money, good money, that’s why they bought us.

I don’t know what Heartland has in store for Millis, if they’re going to incorporate it into their fleet and change the colors to Heartland, that would be the first clue things will change, if they leave it alone, then it will be business as usual. We just got 300 new Volvo 860’s and 780’s along with 100 new KW T680’s all the same color and our speed is the same, 73. We have 100 new Utility reefers on their way in. All this is spec’d to Abilene, not Knight.

Again, forget about the rumors, look at what is happening in front of you.
