Gear head question.

95 Chevy Cheyenne. Transmission lost 3 and 4. I have my ideas on how to proceed but the truck owner thinks she needs a second opinion.

Probably a 4L60e with the 3/4 clutch pack wiped out. Needs a rebuild, just like the '06 Sierra in my back yard.

 

Emptied in Kansas City this morning now loaded for Medford Wisconsin

 

Replace it with what model transmission?

 

Pretty much any trans with a sbc bellhousing will work but a reman from the parts house is about the same cost as a rebuild usually
