I don't know how to apply to Greyhound, I just know I'd rather haul explosives through a war zone (like Baltimore or Detroit) then haul anything that is breathing. You do know they haul people on those things, that's why I became a trucker so I wouldn't have to work around a lot of people. Just something to consider.

It's tough to be a greyhound driver everyone is watching you, this is too much i can't do but if you are looking for great benefit, better pay and treatment i would suggest you to check out transbridge bus line just saying GO COACH GO TRANSBRIDGE

I don't know if they check your DAC, but according to their website they have quite the training process. Something like three to four weeks, and you must apply to the closest terminal near you.

Check there website another poster linked for you. It's definitely not show up for orientation and hit the road four days later.

Be interested in the pay and benefits . . . just for curiosity.

None of the gray dog drivers that I've encountered ever seemed happy to be there. None. By contrast, almost EVERY Trailways driver I've encountered has been chipper, upbeat and professional.

I used to drive a bus when I was in the military. I drove everything from a busload of base dependants (kindergarten-middle school age kids), people needing a ride to the airport for a deployment, a bus load of drunks coming back from a deployment, a bus full of base security personnel during an exercise... All the way down to the entire city counsel, two US Senators, the governor of Montana, and an enteurage of military generals. I hated every single minute of it. Although,.the kids were the ones that got the least on my bloody nerves.

I will never ever in a hundred million years do it again. My hat is off to those that can deal with it

Edit: @Jokingypsy I HAVE hauled a truck load full of explosives through Fallujah, Iraq dodging bullets and bombs. And yes, I would rather do that than to drive another bus
