Loading problems

    Howdy from Oklahoma everybody. Boy did work get screwed up I can't get a load anywhere. So while I am sitting around playing with myself I decided to look at why my truck loads so slowly. I have a Troxell 130 barrel and it only pulls 10lbs or inches vacuum and takes at least 30 minutes to load. . The vacuum pump has been replaced and the pump on the tranny has been replaced. Now the mechanic says the pump motor on the vacuum pump is bad. So I have already thrown a Lot of money at it and fixed nothing. Is it possible my scrubber is bad> ? I can't see paying him again and maybe not help i t Again. Any advice would really be appreciated this is my truck and I need to save all I can especially now. Thanks in advance

    30 minutes to load, shouldn't keep you from getting loads.
    That's about what it took us 6 /7 years ago when I
    Was out there loading water.
    I don't see that as a problem, since your usually loading
    In the middle of nowhere by yourself.
    Your not holding anybody up by not loading in 15 minutes.

    Everything being piped in and the oilfield in the crapper
    Is why you're not getting any loads.

    30 minutes to load how much? 30 gallons or 3,000 gallons? Did it used to load faster and have higher vacuum? You listed pounds but also inches, inches of what?Have you changed any hydraulic filters? We need more details.

    30 minutes for 130 barrels doesn't sound bad at all. In fact, pretty good.

    I think I'll forego all my comments that I just wrote, because on reflection they all seemed to sarcastic and judgemental.

    But I will say this one thing...
    I think the OP needs to find a more competent mechanic.

    When he says 130 barrels, is he talking 55 gallon barrel size?

    I dont know jack about that stuff, but I know a mechanic that does.

    Barrel is the standard unit of measurement in the oil industry. A barrel is 42 gallons so a 130 barrel tanker actually has 5460 gallon capacity.

    Ah, I think I remember being told that in the past now. Call me nuts but 5240 gal of brine water in 30min doesnt seem too bad.
