Southwest is only $54 from Sacramento, CA to Ontario, CA, but then its a good 22 mile hike to Riverside from there.

 

Southwest from KC to Salt Lake is a few dollars more, not much, but I sure don't mind paying them back the difference so long as it's faster.

 

Should be a shuttle that will pick you up from the Airport!! I know there is in SLC.

 

the movie??...chris farley had some good funny movies with david spade....strange but pretty funny

we certainly can't complain about the miles during the work week...had a talk w/ his FM about the wknd dispatch tho' because in 48 hrs had a 17 mi on a Sat. and then sit until mon for a p/u that ran 1500 mi. other than that it's been pretty good. had our first meat and beer run back-to-back, would love to be driving more days again b'cos sleeping during the afternoon heat is brutal.

What's funny about Chris Farley/David Spade movies...they were all the same, In Black Sheep his brother is running for Governor and sends him on a "special" campaign trip with his assistant David Spade. In Tommy Boy, his father owns a auto parts company and he has to go on a sales trip with David Spade to keep the business alive. =)

once again we sit here beaten with issues with wknd dispatch. answer to a question regarding why our receiving time was changed with us but not the receiver??? answer was..... NO IDEA CALL THEM
as we sit waiting to breach our 14 hr clock, (which will happen b/4 the load CAN be taken), we think of many different ways of cutting off someones oxygen.

meanwhile....we are counting our blessings that it is only 90F in Grand Prairie, TX....hahahaha....NOT!!!

 

Having been in a similar situation several weeks ago, this was my experience: Central does not give you the option of having them purchase either air or bus tickets, it's bus ticket only. Should you decide to travel by air, you purchase your ticket and bring them the reciept. They will then refund to you what their cost for a bus ticket would have been, and that amount will be included on your first check ($100.00) from them which is at the end of the three day orientation following the two week school.
