When it was announced it was said to be able to pull the same loads as as normal diesel semi.
Taking a load that one knows nothing about and trying to guess weight is stupid at the best. And while sure batteries weigh a lot, so does an engine and transmission.

I do find it curious to say the least that it's very difficult if not impossible to find how much they weigh, at least I haven't been able to find that spec anywhere.

I said the same thing because they could swap out terminal to terminal with a fully charged tractor. Pepsi, Walmart have already invested. I believe Musk dropped the ball on not having experienced people from the automotive industry who know how mass production runs. Hopefully it will get fixed.

What have Pepsi and Walmart invested in Tesla, a couple million dollars for the promise of a handful of trucks at some not yet determined point in the future, that's a tax write off not an investment.

I’m sure it can pull 45-55K.
It’s just that scale house will be a little upset when it crosses the scales at 95K pounds!

The real investment opportunity isn’t electric vehicles, it’s the electrical grid. The demand for electricity will be staggering.
