TWIC?

Can you get in Florida ports with twic?
I was listening to roaddog a few days ago, and someone said you need a "Florida ports card"...

 

You have to have a twick card to get on the ports

That's where the confusion starts....
He had a TWIC card, and was still charged for an escort into a port since he didn't have a Florida ports card.....
I think he said Port of West Palm Beach...

 

Some states may have there own card-twic is federal-if you do apply for a twick before applying for state cards-there are discounts from some states. go to the twic web site it explains it all.(hope this helped) but u do have to have a twic for all ports

 

Also they are real stricy fbi back ground check-and certain criminal and non crimnal crimes discualify u without waiver

 

you get you twic card show it to every officer that askes for you ID, 70% will not know what it is, diesel bear...you know what it is?
