It means yoou are the next one he sends. I was told the next date is Sep 15th. Flatbroke went on Aug 4th and he told me there were only 18 people at orientation. He should be with his mentor now.

Keep on your recruiter. Maybe we will be there together.

    Hi Bill,
Been on the road for a couple of weeks. Stuck in Ver
ont waiting on a load. Rob my mentor is excellent!
I have been driving mostly at night. Just the way the sched worked out. We are OTR for the next 5 weeks. Only ##### is it's been hot and idle is basicaly out of the question. Most of the loads have been over 40 thousand and running through the mountains and hills of PA is a pain in the scroat. Fog, downpores, and dropping as many as 2 gears to pull the hills.
We may be stuck in the Burlington, VT this weekend waiting on a load. Suks!

Good to hear from you. Was wondering how things were going. How is your mentor? How are the miles? What area are you driving in? Are you enjoying it? Keep in touch when you can.

Spoke to Tamala this week. Monday she told me she had me scheduled for Sep 15th. Tuesday she called for 2 personal references and to e-mail me an employment verification form to sign and fax back. tried her Friday afternoon but no luck. Maybe she took a long weekend. i can usually get her if persisitent enough, but no luck. Maybe you will be in Syracuse when I am there.

    Good luck, keep in touch.

I like it Bill. So far I have done the bulk of the night driving. Just
the way the schedule worked out? I have been in the Northeast region, but
as I type this I have been driving out to Syracuse. We just stopped for fuel
and Rob took over. I picked up a load of paper from Ticonderoga
NY and we are headed to Syracuse Swift terminal then tomorrow
on our way to Toledo. I have driven NH, MA, VT, RI, CT, PA.
It all blends together after awhile Ha!
I like it except it's been hot in the sleeper and the upper
bunk suks. No ventilation in this International...Arrghhhh!

We are goo g to be making our way across the US this week.

    See Ya Soon!

Are you running as a team now? Learning alot. How do you keep your computor and cell phone charged? Do you have an inverter, if so how big is it to charge a computor?

Are you going 48 states or just eastern half of country? Planning any home time yet?

Keep in touch and good luck

No inverter. We have 2 Coleman 12 volt coolers. I am using an Apple
3Gs phone that has Internet , text etc. Thing also has nav
system which has been a Big help. I will be back around Sept. 20
so I am in for the long haul (no pun intended)
We dropped part of a load in Toledo and are headed
to Willard, OH south of Sandusky. After that who knows?
I drove 10 hours yesterday. I am on my 10 hour reset
and got a out 2 hours of sleep.....can you say Burnout! Ha!
    You get used to it.
