I ended up spending 48 hours @ the Pilot in Tumwater. When they planned me on a 149 mile Costco load to Portland I didn't hesitate, anything to get moving. On the way to Portland they offered me a load that picked up this morning in Vancouver, WA going to Los Angeles. Again, despite the crap miles for a 3 days load I took it just to keep moving south.

I'm @ the Pilot in Weed, CA. Gonna stop by the Lathrop terminal tomorrow to get my cab card and do a load of laundry. I'll do Sunday night at the J @ the top of the top of the Grapevine then deal with the traffic Monday morning to deliver my load.

I guess I've been lucky with loads in my area.
The west coast sounds like a black hole pit these days.

Glenn canyon, will go the rest of the way to SLC in the morning and drop this load and get A service Monday.

Hit sleet, Rain, snow, fog and Hail on the way up I17. Everything was fine north of Flagstaff. Temp stayed above freezing but so much hail was hitting the road i dropped speed quite a bit because i was afraid it might be enough to effectively act like ice at that point

A car in the fast lane slammed into barrier and back into another car in right lane. I pulled over on shoulder and so did car that got hit, but other car ran so the car that got hit chased after and i lost visual on both of them.
    @dptrucker
Ive had more than one case of that on that stretch of 15. Couldnt find the ramp and kept going.

    Macon, GA at the Love's.

Delivered at Tractor Supply a mile down the road at 1730 and this place was completely packed, so I bobtailed. There were 2 bobtail spots left. I got one and 5 minutes later another Swift bobtail took the other.

There are a few empties at TS so I'll head over in the morning to see if one is still there.

I just got a pplan, to which I replied...
'This is either a joke or someone is higher than a kite'.

I drove nearly 600 miles today, delivered at 1730.
This pplan had me picking up 100 miles away at 0024 tomorrow morning (tonight) at Amazon and t-calling in Memphis tomorrow morning around 1000.

Planners should be drug tested more often.

dwells40, FerrissWheel and piston865 Thank this.

I grabbed a load from mac 30 headed to IN and I'm glad it has some extra time.

Heading up I-75 in GA out of Atlanta it was raining. There seemed to be two types of drivers out there - those that were scared and slow and those that were daredevils and going full speed weaving from lane to lane to gain position.
Trucks and cars alike with both.
So I shut down early in Cartersville to get out of that mess.

Most of us had just passed an accident in Atlanta. It looked like a truck t-boned a car in the left lane.
But no one seems to learn from seeing.

Wasted Thyme and FerrissWheel Thank this.

At home for the night. Grabbed a Long Beach to Pueblo Target load off of Mac 30 last night just before going to bed. Best part is it delivers Wednesday.
