IMHO "forced dispatch" is being offered one load period. As long as you have the available hours to run that load, that's your only option.
Forced dispatch can also be called "pre-plan".
True, they can't force you to run illegal, but if you the driver put in an MT msg, and they offer a load of 200 miles, due in 48 hrs, and you have those hours, that's your run. Roehl is forced dispatch as well as many reefer companies, which I know you are aware of.

 

i am used to putting in an mt call then getting what ever and taking it . Good ,bad, or indiffrent. Just get it there is the only reply i would get. Like i said b 4 forced dispatch = my way or the highway to many companies. Thanks for the response paratroop73 be cool on the stool and keep the shiny side up.

 

Well there will be good and bad companies to work for that have small fleets. I wish Truckin would give us an update but we shall see.

hey sorry my wife came up to TN to spend the weekend with me , been spending time with her as much as i can , yes i have to drop a load in the morning as jack daniels in lynchburg,tn , sorry to hear about that truckin4alivin he was right no detention no layover also no paid vacation . well tomorrow is going to be my last day with western star since jackie cant understand some people like to go home every now and then , she does not give a #### about you or your family and will hang up on you in heartbeat if she feels your call is not important enough for her to talk to you about , i called her this morning to check in i asked her about getting home (was susposse to be home this weekend been out for 3 weeks ) she told me to not bother her with it today and i will have to work my way back out to california before i can get home . anyone have any question ask away can't remember the previous post

i ment what i said in my earlier post i am done with the whole wst thing way too many red flags for me...no no heck no i will not be going to carson unless i am traveling thru in my next new ride.
