    OK guys,

Look I have been driving for 26yrs. and got a DUI and was convicted on the 1st of Oct. 2008.I get my CDL back on Oct,12 2009 and need to find a trucking job.I was an owner-operator when I got the DUI,I sold my truck.I have been working for a moving company lumping furniture, and packing. At least it pays the bills, but I love trucking and want to find someone to hire me.I am not big on drinking I had a few playing golf with a friend when I got my DUI.I made a bad discission. One that I will never make again in my lifetime.I just want to go back to truck driving.Anyone with good input on a job please let me know.

    Thanx Spyderman

An employer may overlook that, but the insurance companies certainly won't. That's really the main problem, the exhaustive cost to employ you even if you could be insured. Commercial insurance is already a terrible burden.

Spyderman: You might try giving a small down payment to a lawyer so he can file a petition with a Court of proper jurisdiction and have you DUI Record 'Expunged'. With a good argument and good witnesses of your previous Owner-Operator Record, a judge might be incline to remove your DUI. Good Luck....charlie
