The closest one I know of is the one I went to in sellersburg IN, right across the river from lousiville. It's ok if you need a refresher but me I refuse to take a refresher thats just bs if you ask me. Find something local driving.

I'm not sure about just how true this actually is, but one instructor at the school i'm attending said that Kentucky closed all their cdl schools because a number of them were doing some shady stuff. Again, sure how true that is. We do have a number of Kentucky students here, but I figured that was just because of location. We also have some Indiana students.

Anyway, I don't know where you are located, but the school I attend, Napier Truck Driver Training is located in Hamilton, OH, just north of Cincinatti if that helps any. See my thread I started about the school. In my opinion, it is a very good school. I think it is worth the 70 miles I drive one way to attend.

in refrence to getting a local job I have been off the road a few years and was told by all local companies that if you are more than 18 monthes off the road their insurance companies would not let them hire I have perfect record nothing on my DAC no tickets ever. otherwise they would hire me in a second.

heard Ohio doesn't accept out of state CDL's and you have to transfer them to the state of the school and retake the test
