:biggrin_2559: this reminds me of a conversation I overheard the other day between a couple of elementary school kids...

"oh yeh.. well you ...blah blah blah blah blah.."

Yeh... I didn't listen much past the "oh yeh" because it didn't really matter. You can't make anybody else have your same opinion, and the way somebody thinks is their own choice.

Personally, I don't like to see some guys belly hanging out of his shirt at the truck stop, or shorts hanging off his arse so much that I can see his shyte stained underwear... that is just gross.

I wear shorts a lot. Does that mean that i'm not a good driver or disrespectful to this industry? I think not. I'm a courteous person because that's how I was raised. Times change people change, that's just the way it is. I have close to 14 years out here and everyday is a learning process. It's not if your old school or new school but rather if you were trained properly. I consider myself a new school driver but I try my best to get my freight to it's destination on time safely and legally.

When I posted about 3 pages ago I did not say anything about HOW to dress. That is up to the individual. Just be clean. No reason to smell.
But please don't wash you feet were I might have to brush my teeth, thats just gross.
Now as far as wearing shorts I don't see anything wrong with that ether.
I wear them myself. But only when going from A to B, Never at a Customer. But to the guy's wearing shorts don't wear them with black calf length socks, thats just wrong. lol And get some sun on those legs driver. If folks need to put on sunglasses because of your legs, loose the shorts.
I play Golf most every weekend so I have a good tan.

And a lot of the time I like to wear my slippers when going down the road.
There is no rule that you can not be comfortable when going down the road. But before you get out of that big o'l Diesel Car, there is no reason in the world to look like Joe #### the rag man.

    Stump and SweetSouthernRide Thank this.
