Where is everyone #5

Marketing is one of my major weaknesses on the farm. Just when I think I got it figured out, the USDA throws a curveball and messes it all up! Where they come up with these numbers is beyond me.

That's crazy

 

Marketing is the absolute worst part. Especially when somebody else is manipulating numbers

 

With the potential for my wife to inherit her Dad's farm when he passes, this is something I've been trying to learn. I never dreamed there was this much to it. I think understanding women would be easier to figure out.

 

I don't understand even the tip of the iceberg yet, but when the USDA puts out numbers as far off as they did this year, where do you even start?

 

Lol. It’s gambling.

 

Welp. Its monday morning and i still dont feel like rolling up the 8s i balled on the deck last wednesday in the snow. Coffee got my enthusiasm up from -6 to -4.

Maybe another pot is in order.

My load of pallets to Laredo Texas was cancelled this morning... yet their trying to find another load of pallets outta here that I can bring to Laredo. Ain’t that something? Freight must be really in the low of lows I tell ya, Jesus

 

Here is some pics from April of 04 when we went down to Moline, Ill to grab our new combine. We headed straight to SD to drop it at the farmers yard we custom cut for.
