My Brother bought a el camino. Never put any money into it.

The first thing it did was die on him in any sort of upgrade. Apparently Minot has no hills (I need to double check that...) The car kept dying here there and everwhere. We were sick of it.

When I came Arkansas bought a El Camino in Heber as it was a mountain car with a very high rear axle and a good overdive box on the back. Maps all over the door pockets howed it ran everywhere from Vegas to Connecticut and so forth.

Bought it. Drive it straight to carburator shop. Turned out to be a #####ing huge Carter on there. Mechanic tore out everything and dropped in new everything in a couple of hours fiddled with injectors, floats and so on fired right up with a roar on the first go.

Topped out a 110 due to rear end and no apparent starvation of engine. Which was a new experience for me. Not very fast but it was a mountain car for a mountain work. Which it did excellent on.

I bought my Corolla in 2016 with (If I remember right) 28K miles. It was a lease vehicle.
    It now has 62K miles. It's a 2014.
Been driving truck for 2 years.
Forget what I've put on it in those two years.
Put some miles on my first job. Back and forth to Denver, then Dodge City. Where it would sit.
Racked up some miles when I was Oil Field for 2 months. Back and forth to Gillette.

    Cabinover101 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Oh... I forgot... My car is better than your car. It has an engine brake. Makes me feel at home when out of my truck. :laughing-guffaw:

I would love to just go and have a picture taken with one. That alone, is expensive.
Just dreaming... talk about a Co-Driver. What a Teddy Bear!
No way I could have a Panda. China only gives them as gifts to other countries. Priceless...
