Cabover

Old thread I know......but JR has never ever run his baby in the winter. I’m on O/O here and have been here since he built this truck.

 

Nice truck for sure. The paint scheme looks like the same one that Carretta used on their trucks back in the '80's. I didn't think they had any KW's though, mostly Petes I thought.

 

Love the old KW's. My dad used to have a black and red one with that paint scheme.

 

Carretta had few KW Cabovers but mostly Pete’s and a few Freightliners

 

Roger that, it was a long time ago. At one point I looked into driving for them, but I had no interest in running team....

 

I forgot they ran team, I imagine teaming was miserable in a cabover.

 

Yeah, team wasn't for me. If my memory is correct, I think they ran furniture out to cali and wine back. There's likely still some old hands on here that ran for them back then. I'm just curious if that KW was one of their trucks. I always liked that blue paint scheme...

Columbine Carriers used to run the aerodyne cabovers as well.
