Good I will show my mechanic tomorrow will see how it works, when I took my truck to Volvo dealer, without testing it they said nothing related with engine or turbo, and they said it,s transmission because of bunch of inactive faults. Anyway thanks for advice.

Well guys, but the bullet and changed injectors and cups, still have the same problem. Didn’t think the injectors or cups were the problem in the first place but it was a last resort and no luck. Anybody else come up with a fix?

Love how a lot these back yard shop jockeys throw out "cups" every post that mentions power loss.
Yes cups are an issue with Volvo... back in 2000 and earlier but they switched from Alum to steel during the 2004 years. With that being said....
I bought a new head which came with new cups and new injectors. Truck runs great. but as soon as i pull a load up a hill the power drops to nothing.
I replaced the Air to Air, all of the boots, and put a new gasket on the intake manifold. I can not find any leaks (using an ATA pressure test kit), Starts fine, runs fine. No sputtering or shaking. just NO power when pulling hills.
If the EGR valve is stuck open, how do you close it? Would a stuck open EGR valve cause this power loss?
    looking forward to replies.
    Thank you

Don't bother Brother. He seems to know everything already. He seems to even know about the "TOP SECRET" D13 engines that were available in "2000 and earlier" that had the aluminum cups instead of copper. Looking forward to his help on other issues............
