Wish I had my phone when I was talking to the dude, so I could've got a better pic. Look how tall it stands in relation to the dry van behind it. Had to be close to 11' at the top of the cab. In relation, mine is 9' on tall 22.5. Said it was an ex military truck. 515hp Detroit.OLDSKOOLERnWV, Lysdexis, Eldiablo and 6 others Thank this.

@OLDSKOOLERnWV
So what's the skinny on Little Sandy truck stop Bruceton Mills, WV. I68 & 26. Had a nice little restaurant there, but I didn't take the time to sit & eat..
looked good, but the flakes were fall'n, temps were drop'n, sun set'n, & road looked primed for ice. This FL flatlander wanted out of them hills quick. What'd I miss out on..?Isafarmboy, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Eldiablo and 7 others Thank this. -
I’ve seen similar stuff from KW or maybe Pete around the oil fields, but don’t recall seeing an FLD. She looks dang rugged I’ll say that.
515hp would that be a Series 60 or one of the earlier screamers ?OLDSKOOLERnWV, jamespmack, Eldiablo and 6 others Thank this. -
congratulations

Yep, guy said it has 14.0L Series 60. I'm assuming from him saying 2006, it'd be a DDEC V egr joint. Unless the military gets special treatment, could be missing some parts for overseas high sulfur fuel.. Then again, no dpf it may run high sulfur just fine..?
I seen a 2001 w900 with a pre egr 14 L 575hp Detroit on truck paper a few months back. That's what this single screw needs!!
LoL
I thought it was neat too. Never seen one before either. Almost impossible to see from the crap pic I got, but that rig has a massive winch behind the cab too.. Wonder what the truck was initially spec'd for..peterbilt_2005, Lysdexis, jamespmack and 8 others Thank this. -
it was...
