    That it does.!
Gonna have to get my hands dirty when I make it home. Looking to be back in FL between the 8th & 10th, so only a few more days to work through it..

One benefit though is I'm learning to do smaller tasks myself. Didn't really have a role model to teach me any hands on mechanical skills. Time between 2000-2011 I was a real eff up to say the least..

This truck definitely keeps me busy & out of trouble when at home.. :D

Do y'all ever see steam coming off the battery box for a second or 2 while cranking in cold temps.?

Don't believe there are any loose connections as I just checked them last Sunday. They are 2 years old, & seem to have plenty of power..

10-4 I haven't smelled anything funny. I guess I don't really know if its smoke, or just steam from the quick burst of power under the cranking load..?

I have more investigating to do..

Going to go over on my service this time a little bit so, grease truck n trailer, adjust brakes all around, top up all the fluids, check all the tire pressures and give her a belly rub. Will only be a couple thousand miles but I’ll feel better knowing I did a little extra. 5F9C489E-8C3D-462C-B365-0D04D8EEBE64.jpeg My mother in law gives me a birthday check every year even though they don’t have any money. She gets all offended if I don’t cash it so I got some sharpening stones this year. PS I can’t wait till the last snow fall in April. Truck is looking pretty ragged out.

usual the last week of April I take off and do a full detail and polish.

I can't say that I have. I also have never really been watching the area while I crank. They do warm up naturally so I guess under the right conditions of moisture and temperature it could produce some like when you can see your breath?

Yes, exactly. I think I worry to much about nothing..

My battery box isn't sealed real great, & after the truck sits around freezing temps all night, I can see it slightly huff what looks like steam/hot breath come out the seems of the box while cranking.. I 1st noticed it in Cambridge, OH last month. Truck cold soaked 42 hours ~17°-22°F while I was hold up in a hotel for the weekend. It produced quite a cloud that morning, but there was a thin layer of frost on everything, & my brakes were froze up too..

Thought is was weird because I saw it again today, but was only around 30° last night. Truck was off for about 22hours, but was way less than than the 1st time. I'm hoping you're right, & it's just a certain atmospheric conditions met kind of thing..

@Tug Toy 's ragged out is what I'm aspiring toward..

Truck looks dang good from here.!

When I get home, you & @Hurricane69 may get a barrage of polishing questions.. :D
