Hi, I am looking for work.
I have my Class A license, and my *tanker* and *haz-mat* endorsements.
I'm willing to haul everything but the Flatbed Family.
I am 28 years old. I do not smoke, do not drink, and do not do drugs.
I do not party. I tend to stay to myself, and help take care of my family.
I do not yet have any work history in trucking;
currently I take care of two of my aunts who are in bad health,
as well as looking after my cousin's three children, ages 4-9 (one boy, two girls).
I am a hard worker, and very reliable and dependable.
I am looking for someone to give me a shot, either teaming up or driving with/for them.
I am a fast learner, and am not afraid to ask questions if I do not understand something.
I am single and able to be out months at a time, as I do not get home sick.
I went to the National Truck Driving School, a trucking school in Union City, California, in 2005.
If you own a company or a truck, I am willing to work it for you.
Thank You for Reading.

Thanks for the Welcome. I am from West Texas and have been driving just a few years. I started with Swift so as you can imagine I've learned the good the bad and the ugly. All in all, truck driving is what one makes of it. Since I had a little retirement money, it was not really that bad. Although we are all out here to make the American Dream come true...and that takes Money.
One of the most important things about 'any kind' of driving is Planning Ahead
and making sure that one works the Plan; in every area of the Trucker's Life. If one neglects any little thing, it will come back to bite you. It stands to reason that if one neglects to keep an eye on the employer, then the Company will zero in and take full advantage. Remember, they are in it just like we are for the Money!
Therefore, we as drivers must do a good job and keep our end of the bargain and there is every possibility that the Company will do the same. These are rough-times everyone is going through (Companies as well as Drivers and their families) so its time that (we stand our ground,yes) but also keep the bad-spirit of division from making things worst. It's time to stick together and ride this thing out. later, charlie
