With my company we get a 5cpm bonus if we get 3000 or more miles a week. I just run dry van. Miles=money

Driving footwear ought to have laces, per regulations.
Other than that, stop throwing piss bottles out the window before you worry about flip flops.

Evidently, they're just as good to get that load as you are. As long as your customers don't care...
The must be fitter than you too. To be able to tarp all that load almost barefooted. Right?
Besides, stop spreading hate about Volvo and track pants everywhere! I have not seen anyone tarping with flip flops anywhere yet.

I used to wear flip flops when having a gout attack, just stub that toe doing that. But unfortunately I had to get off the road to deal with health problems and a aged parent. I wear shoes inside the house, pretty much everywhere now. and I fixed my health problem and sometimes dream of the road again, I know it is not the same now, electronic everything telling drivers what to do, so I am just biding my time until I am free again.

    Wargames and Ray-z Thank this.

I want to puke. I don't give a #### about who wears what. Flip flops are not good to drive. The foot can slip and that's true. But nobody's business what someone wears outside the truck. Track pants are nobody's business either. They don't do anything safety wise.
Like I said, eliminate lowlifes pissing out at their tires on parking lots, leaving turd in plastic bags before worrying about dress code.

All I know is when I come back I will have a camper portapotty stuck inside the truck. I know it sounds gross except it is not as gross as walking across them parking lots and them restrooms. For clothing I have found if I want respect I had better dress the part.

For one quit following me around like a lost puppy.

For two the customers do care that's why they have signs up all over stating drivers must have PPE on.

Its common sense which most white Volvo drivers lack.

You dont know how fit I am to be commenting on my figure. Aren't you the one who posted on a thread the other day how you've gained 70 pounds this past year? You got a lot of nerve.

Let's see if I can fix this. "What's up with drivers wearing heavy boots, jeans and button down shirts year round? Don't they sit in a truck all day? Isn't that uncomfortable? Modern trucks are like houses inside. Mine is. Clean and comfortable. Do you wear muddy boots, jeans and a button down sitting around the house? What's up with that?"

    I drive a Volvo.
I don't wear track pants but would if I preferred them.
I wear flip flops on occasion, with shorts. Mostly in the summer.
The rest of the year I wear socks and Crocs. Awesome combination.
I do NOT approve of lazy arse drivers going in a shipper's location in flip flops but if I could change some stupid driver behavior this would be way down the list.

But....they don't care what I think, and I don't care what they think. That's what's up with that.

Sani101, Adegon, Snailexpress and 3 others Thank this.
