We had a great time at the wedding reception. Got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a long time.

However, the next morning wasn't the greatest. Went down for continental breakfast and people were talking about slashed tires and broken windows out in the parking lot. Thought we better go investigate. My brother was parked next to us and another guy we know was parked next to him.

They slashed the tires on the vehicle next to my brother. They broke the two passenger windows on my brothers pickup, skipped our vehicle then slashed the tires next to ours. Why they didn't touch ours is beyond me.

There was no video surveillance where we were parked. Cops were called and wrote up reports. I doubt they'll catch whoever did it. I'd love to get my hands on them and break their effin arms!

I married my wife when her daughter was 3. Jessica's "donor" was a pain in the ### the whole time until she turned 18. For her 18th birthday, she asked me to adopt her as my own. One of the best days of my life. My daughter turns 29 in July.

I'm glad to hear its worked for a few of you folks. Just really unsure about whether or not I could be a good role model to a kid. It feels like it could be more responsibility than I'm ready to jump into.

I think my saving grace is gonna be the “grouping”.

Have three between Puyallup and Kent, one straggler in Federal Way.

Three near Boeing Field / The Port, one straggler just south of I-90 in “Mt Baker”.

One in Bothell — and then everything else is Everett.

Figure if I can kick Bothell off by 1-2pm at the latest, I can get into Everett and get those started at the very least. That’s 8-9 of the 12 if I make it that far — least by then nothing will be left on the south side.

It's not easy, especially when there are other parents involved. I still wouldn't trade it for the world. The biggest thing we discovered, both sets of parents have to be on or near the same page and have to communicate with each other. It doesn't mean you have to become best friends. But if one set has rules and the other doesn't, life will become miserable pretty fast.
That's a quick and dirty explanation, without turning this into a Dr Fill episode.

My buddy had a busy day....chased some deer, a squirel and a couple of rabbits. Caught one rabbit. The squirel made him look like a fool...making him run round tree in circles ! Wore him out ! 20200301_205437.jpg

I'm in the same boat you are. Feel the same way too. One thing I've learned is until you get real serious you're just the bf and not in any shape that kids dad/have any parental powers. Which luckily for you if shes raising a little hellion that's a red flag to dip out.

Package deal. Build a relationship with the kid as you build one with mom. Is mom a real parent, or is she trying to be friends with her little Hellraiser? If the kid is foul, walk away.

Mom should be cautious about who she brings around the kid. If she’s taking you home and allowing you to stay for the night, and you just met, walk away.

If they communicate by screaming at each other, walk away.

If she says that she’s independent and hasn’t dated anyone in 6 months, yet all of a sudden she’s hitting you up for money because ‘she doesn’t know how she’s going to make it,’ walk away.

If she kisses her ex.’s baby daddy’s arse, even though their relationship ending over a year ago, walk away. If he can irk her to the point to where she cancels your plans, walk away. He can pork her at will.

If the kid is disrespectful to you, walk away. If the kid is disrespectful to you in front of mom, run away.
