Ill be headen to stevens on the 5th, im comin from ohio, does anyone know about how long of a bus ride it is. Was just curious. And if anyone else is startin the 7th keep me informed. That way we can get to know each other and were all not strangers in dallas lol.

Stevens is giving me a hard time about a parking lot accident I had 2 years ago, no injuries, no police called, no points on my MVR! is that normal??

 

Wow, I find this very interesting. I have received nothing of the sort. Not been told what to study, nothing. And I'm supposed to start Monday, before all of you guys. The other thing is, they called me on Monday to tell me that I was all set and approved. Since then, someone has called me every single day to tell me I need to provide more information that the safety officer requests. I had to provide a statement from my insurance company on their letterhead stating that they had not paid out the other party a settlement because of a fender-bender I had on private property in June. It wasn't even my fault. I provided a police report stating as much the day before that. The day before that, they wanted bank records and such showing I had been employed over the last year because I was an independent contractor. I'm making a call in the morning to find out what in the heck is going on. I was going to try taking my permit exam tomorrow, the last day I can do it, but it's not even clear to me what to study....? Chapter 14 is like 3 pages long it seems with very little info. I'm guessing that the exam has more to it then that. Anybody know if I'm supposed to be studying the whole book for just the permit test?

 

Can anyone tell me-on the permit exam in Texas....is it only Chapter 14 we need to study? Also, does the Dept of Public Safety check your eyesight/colorblindness or anything else health related during the permit exam or during any of the other written tests?

I know all of this is part of the company physical, I just wondered what they check for the permit....
