Hey guys, I mostly fuel at pilot / flying J, rarely at loves and QT, what would be the most beneficial fuel card for me?

Your own debit or credit card, and I would stay away from major truck stops, there's a lot of money you can save by fueling at mom's and pop's and other no so big stores.

Try OOIDA - I think they have a fuel card. You can also sign up with EFS but I agree that you can usually save more without a fuel card at the smaller stations.

I go to the bigger ones for free showers and most of the time get a spot to park.
I use my copilot to find truckstops and more than half the time I go to the smaller mom/pop spots I end up in a place that has 2 fuel islands and no parking with filthy showers and bathrooms.

I'm sure in the future I will get familiar with and mark the better mom/pop stops but for now pilot has everything I need with loves coming in second. If love would let me pay with my CC/debit through their app I'd stop there more often.

So just looking for the best fuel card that would give me a discount at pilot/loves/qt stops.

Them showers at the end of the day keeps you sane. You are absolutely correct as far some small mom and pop truck stops you never know what you get. At the big chains everything is there. The big chains have fuel cards, I don’t know how effective they are. They have called me several times but now I only fuel there on occasion. I am not much help in this regard but understand your reasoning and questions.

I’ve been tempted more and more to getting a fuel card for just in case.
I’m liking a lot of what guys are saying about the Fleet One Edge. Pilot / Flying J is in their network along with so much more.
It’s a WEX card like I used with Schnieder so it connects to their mobile app also.

NASTC has a very good fuel card discount program.

    !!!
Does anyone remember a comment on this thread with a guy recommending an “energiefuel” card ?
I started signing up with them but after the application, now they want a drivers license picture and a utility bill for proof of residency.
Getting a weird vibe, so I was going to ask this guy whether he just heard of them or actually use them. But the comment is non-existent now.
Am I just tripping or is this the norm for a fuel card?

The fuel card company needs proof you are you, somehow.
