    Just curious if anyone uses or has used these speed binders that require a drill to open and close them? Doesn't appear to save much time and if your drill battery is dead it really adds on time having to use a hand socket as shown in the video.

    Maybe someone with arthritis might really benefit from these though.

    I do like how it has a zerk fitting for grease.

    I find the enclosed bit of it the most appealing, would hold up better on an open rack, and not need quite as much attention.

    The video seemed to have been done by a fanboy. Irritating. Couldn't watch it all the way through.

    So, what happens if you don't have a drill? Does it have some sort of backup external ratcheting device? Or do you break out your 14mm socket and do it manually? And their biggest binder is only 9000lb WLL for 1/2 chain. Mine are 13000lb. And the handles fold down.

    LOL ya, I edited my post. You need a 14mm socket when you dont have a drill. It took him about 2 minutes. That would be a PIA if you have several binders on a load.

    This fanboy is trying to sell the idea that these binders are the end all be all of all binders. I don't see that. There isn't an end all be all in all of open deck. That's why we have full headache racks and storage boxes.

    I do see a use for them and I will buy 4 of them.

    I actually went to their website.

    Some times, I will get these big air handling units to haul. Securement points right on the deck. trying to turn a ratchet binder as it's digging through the deck isn't fun. I carry snap binders for this purpose, but I like the idea of the drill setup better.

    @TripleSix

    I can think of too many times where I had a binder, snap or rachet in a position that was an utter pita.

    All the sudden im liking this idea alot more.

    Let us know how this goes if you dont mind.
