I had an HPOP failure on an International DT466E, and only took a quick look at it but it looks like the timing cover comes off to change the pump. Is this right or am I missing something? I am trying to build a proper quote for the customer. Thanks.

Nope. It unbolts from the rear. Two bolts, takes 10mm socket. They are hard to find, hiding.
