When you be in St Paul? We will be in St Cloud tomorrow night for 6am unload Friday

 

You know it’s going to be a day, when you call the shipper for directions and they tell you don’t go down the hog trail go a mile further down the road and head up the road on the left till you reach the top of the mountain.

Well this week is going to be a stinker for miles. Hit RFD Tuesday morning. Opie says he's got nothing unless I want a load coming into Richfield around noon headed for South Pittsburg. Okay, at least it got there around 10:30. So a short first day down to whiteland, in.

Then deliver at 10:30 in South Pitt. Unloaded by 11, but no loads. Get parked somewhere nice. And then with three hours left on the 14, Opie sends me a dnh from Shaw in ringgold to Menards in holiday city. Stupidly, I go right away to get it. Waste time in Chattanooga traffic and then can't park at a truck stop for my morning shower, stuck at a weigh station.

So, 6.5 hours, 8.75 hours (recap will be fun on my short week next week, ugh).

Now tomorrow, I have to either stop in Trenton, but that is only 6 hours, or go all the way to Menards and have maybe an hour on the clock once there and pretty crap options for parking (can't find a consistent answer whether I can park overnight at Menards or not). I'll probably drive all the way tomorrow.

Some weeks it works, sometimes just, ugh. Yeah, I'm rolling 12 days, off 2. Need time to get my wife's immigration stuff figured out and spend some time with her while she is here...otherwise, I'd roll 8 weeks too, haha.

 

There is a service plaza in ohio just up the road off toll road you could park at for the night after holiday city or the loves just inside the Indiana border on toll road

 

My appt is 1245 in St Paul.

 

Gotcha well we will be in St Cloud around 5pm tonight for our 6am appointment. Hoping to get lucky and they take us early so i can get back home tomorrow before kids get out of school. Reload from St Cloud is for Memphis 6am Sunday.

 

Crap I couldn't even make it to Ozora today. So it looks like it's either McDonald's or Hunt Bros pizza for me. Oh and they moved my appt to 6 a.m. so I have to be rolling by 1 if I wanna make it. Wheeeeeee!
