Well its just a lil bit windy out here today across 218N and 35N holy #### lol

 

I'm going to the Menards in Holiday City for my next load, is there anything special about that place besides the mud?

 

Nope besides askin your dispatcher before you get there if you are taking a load out of there or do you need to grab an empty. Pretty straightforward just like all other menards dcs

 

Got a reload out of holiday city...except it wasn't going to be loaded until late tomorrow...pass. So night dispatch gives me a Smuckers load from Orrville to university park, IL...loading at 130/ tomorrow and delivering Monday....are you kidding? That would barely be 1800 miles for the week. Hoping Opie can find something more sensible.

 

Smuckers usually has their stuff loaded early and you can drop in University Park 24/7 you dont need to wait till Monday.

 

Maybe. Never in my experience though.

 

@keen98 well I reckon we were 2 ships in the night. Breakthru Beverage in St Paul was a fuster cluck. Had to wait 10 minutes after I was mt to get off the dock, trucks everywhere.
Mike had me preplanned to reload at Diversifoam in Rockford MN. Really nice peeps there. Headed to Iron Ridge for the drop.

Ive never been to Breakthru. Sounds like that's a good thing lol. Ya I've been to Diversifoam several times and pretty sure I've never been there longer than like 45mins to get loaded.

Our appt at St Cloud was 6am today...we checked in at midnight and was empty and reloaded by 3am. Should be home by 1130am today and take off for Memphis around noon tomorrow for our 6am on Sunday.

If everything goes ok my student is going to hammer out the miles this wk and next. We came out Mon and on Monday when we get back to St Cloud hes going to be over 4000 miles in 8 days just sucks thats not all on 1 paycheck.

 

Triangle freight all week yet this is gonna be a meh week mileage-wise. I'm in Memphis loading for Rochester but this doesn't deliver until Monday. 2658 miles, which ain't bad but worst week of the year so far. I've been kinda spoiled with the miles lately.

 

Ya our paid miles this wk will be like 2650 or so too because our Sunday Memphis reload for St Cloud doesnt deliver till Tuesday. But next week we will get 2 Memphis deliveries and 2 St Cloud deliveries on 1 check so be just shy of 3600 paid miles nxt week.
