I'm runnig a 2013 prostar with the hated maxxforce. In December i had a delete done and replaced both turbos. The engine hp was over tuned to 500+ so had it retuned back to 475. Problem I'm having now though is I'm losing boost pressure when accelerating. When I get to highway speeds it seems to be fine. But, when trying to get up to speed the turbo will start to whine then I will intermittently loose boost pressure. It feels like a gasket or valve can't hold the pressure and lets it go. Also, now that this is happening the engine is not idling as smooth as it used it. It will idle smooth then for a second it hiccups then smooths oit again. The engine has never died so far, but I feel like it is somehow related. I have check the air to intake hise and the turbo exhaust hoses and find no leaks and the clamps are tight. Not sure what else to add, anyone with an idea please ask me a question about it and I will attempt to answer it.

Any CEL lights? And you said you did check the both LPCAC and main charge air cooler for leaks. Maybe it's a bad air control valve. Do you have the old style that the harness plugs directly into the ACV or does it have the updated one with the harness coming out of the the valve?

That whistling sound is a leak. Somewhere. Like a ballon when you stretch the end and the more restricted it becomes it begins to whistle. Boost is around 30psi. Any leaks and it will do that. Most probable cause. Don't go change your turbo or anything before validating the air to air system is perfectly sealed.

No cel lights, I have a clean dash. I've gone over the cac and hoses from both sides and can not find a leak anywhere. When I bump my idle I can watch the a2a hoses pulse like they are breathing in time to the tremble the engine is experiencing. I'm not sure of the air control valve if its the old or new style, actually not sure what that is. I have given up trying to figure it out and dropped it at a shop I've used before. I will update with the results of what they say when I hear back. -
Did that 3 months ago, not about to go through that again. Shop has it now, I've given up.
