I feel you. I worked for almost a year with a stomach ailment..thought I was dying, lost nearly 40 lbs. Docs couldn't figure out what was wrong with me until it was found out I had an instestinal parasite that I got on a cruise.Never missed a day of work with constant naseau and diarrhea
Worked with mononucleosis for several months..never missed work..you talk about a bad illness..no energy whatsoever..constant sweats and fever. So sick of these ####### these days..God forbid we ever go to war..the pansies cant defend our country. Our greatest generations are long gone

James Lamb is a fraud. I can’t believe people still support that guy.

My dog goes everywhere with me. We find plenty of time to get out of the truck during the day. And somehow I still manage to get done what I need to get done with an ELD.

I can’t straighten the little finger on my left hand anymore. I’m thinking maybe I broke it once.

Back when I was running nights I parked next to a flatbed in an icy lot, and slipped. By reflex the arms went out and my left hand hit the rub rail of the flatbed.

That hurt, and swelled up in minutes. This was the middle of the night, so after the driver from the other barn came and got swapped out, nothing to do but grab some snow and ice off the ground in a coffee cup, stick my hand down in it, and keep on trucking.

So, if they go onto paper logs they'll still run legally, but somehow the animals will get more exercise?

If you're running legal... you're running legal.

Sounds like a blatant request to cheat.

That's one way to lose weight, albeit not the preferred way. What's with these cruise ships anyway, seems like all kinds of crud originates on them, none for me thanks....

stepped on a nail , pulling up blocking.

drove the 300 miles back to the terminal same day, after the big deal from the customer. Norfolk Naval Base.

Haz-mat crew in suits, corpsmen, security to help contain the haz-mat spill,( my blood on the warehouse floor).

glad it was my right foot and not the clutch foot. still hurt like hell.

then got in trouble for assisting in the first place!!! they are union in Ohio, so the rules are drivers are insured as drivers and not workers.

didn't know that, but ya don't have to tell me twice to sit on my butt.

Many years ago, I took a load to the newly built Javits convention center in NYC. First thing they asked, "Are you a teamster?", No, why. "We'll call you when we're ready for you." Sat there all day, all night, finally got off loaded the next morning, me along with a couple of other non-union guys. Next time a convention load came up, we put it on St. Johnsbury, no more problem....

Watch out for the FMCSA, these idiots will just forbid animals to be in a truck if there are too much crying about ELD or HOS.

They won't do that because of all the (snow)flakes that need 'emotional support' pets.

Just look around you. Most of them in the drivers seats are animals.
