Thought about buying that one for the truck and keeping the nice one at home but the wife wouldn't have it! She loves having it in the truck.Linte_Loco and Odin's Rabid Dog Thank this.

I use the same Walmart Keurig machine at home and in the truck.

I bought one of these at Walmart last week because of your review. It works great on the truck. I have been using the bigger Keurig machine with the larger water reservoir and it just puts too much strain on my 2k watt inverter while heating, even with the truck engine running.
I'll put the bigger Keurig back in the house now.PE_T Thanks this. -
I use a $20 Sunbeam electric kettle to heat water for my morning oatmeal and the times I make coffee in the truck. Not only is it cheap, it's easy on my inverter. It can boil the small amount of water I need in about 30 seconds. For heating water it's far faster than a microwave. I bought mine at the local grocery store in the appliance aisle.

Here is another cheap alternative to K-cups. It's also better for larger cups or mugs. You just need hot water and coffee plus the item below. It's also available in staineless-steel or ceramic versions. It can be halfvthe price of a Keurig machine.

Coffee is cheaper to buy than to brew.
I have a 2 qt Stanley, it cost me 1.30?? To fill at lives or PFJ.
Gallon of water is 1.00, so .50 worth of water to make a pot, plus the grounds... -
Water at a truck stop, or anywhere else for that matter, comes out of the tap for free. I keep bottled water on the truck for convenience. I buy a big can of coffee at Walmart for 7 or 8 bucks. I have no idea how many cups I get out of it. But.....it is still a heck of a lot cheaper to brew it in my truck every morning rather than pay truck stop prices by the cup or thermos. Plus, I may not start every day at a truck stop....especially one that has $1.00 refills. A few weeks ago I was at a TA that charged me over $2.00 for a 24 ounce refill!!!
