W900 or 4900

    Which have you guys had better luck with? W900 with a cm870 cummins or 4900 with a series 60. Both have the same specs I want. W900 has 150,000 miles on a rebuild while the 4900 has 250,000 less miles. Any opinions appreciated!

    What is the overall condition of both. Start there.

    Oh and dose he have paperwork for the overhaul? If not assume it never happened.

    Kenworth is a better truck, the S60 is the better engine. The cm870 were good, but the Detroit is way cheaper to repair.

    I would look at the price as well. The w900 is going to have a higher resell value when you are done with it
