I have driven for EHT for the past two years as a L/O on the Dry Van side and have mostly good things to say about this company. I love the fact we do not run to the Northeast or west of Denver (unless you are a team truck and they do California runs). Company has good well maintained equipment. In the past year we got somewhere around 200 brand new trailers. Being a small company the staff at the headquarters really do know your name. You rarely sit with this company as 98% percent of the time I have a pre-plan for the next trip before I deliver my current load. IMO the biggest downside/complaint I have is they pay Short / HHG miles. Could I make more $$$ driving for a different carrier? Probably but to me quality of life and being happy in the job is a huge part of the work equation.

They can't make any money on the freight they're
Moving, so their going all lease drivers.
They can make more money off of lease purchase drivers
Then they can off of the freight.
Take their cut off the top of the load, give the lease
Guy what's left and let him pay for everything and
Take all the risk.
It's bulletproof. -
