So, let's say I wanted to add two feet to my frame..... could I find another truck like mine, cut the frame 2' below the sleeper and weld that to mine which I cut just behind the sleeper, then add a piece of frame inside the two pieces that were put together? Essentially making that 6' section double framed?

Yes, all manufacturers legally state only way to repair frame is replace, but they also give welding guidelines. Screenshot_20200305-215802.png Screenshot_20200305-220300.png Screenshot_20200305-221743.png

I bought an Evolution from Amazon. It was just a bit over 400. I’m happy with that product, did everything I’d expected of it, about 60 15/32 holes.

    Dino soar Thanks this.

I'm cheap. Good 3/8" bit and a tapered reamer. $40 lol.

A single tech in our diesel shop re-framed an early-00's Pete 379 couple years back. Truck came out great but the cheapass calling the shots at the time didn't get the rails pre-drilled and that was a huge mistake.

Yeah AModel Cat, but that mag drill with an annular bit was so cool to operate! Lol
