    I dont get how the driver of truck 2 will be "off duty" when he is still having to babysit that truck.. And idk about yall but if im gonna die in my sleep it sure as hell aint gonna be in the hands of an autonomous truck

    off duty as they will be In The sleeper since the driver in the front is going to be driving.

    once the driver in the second truck comes online, they switch. Basically the change can be done while they are in motion or while refueling or if they have cans as bathrooms.


    If this idea is successful I see the portable showers being installed in the sleepers to take care of the stops needed to clean up.

    Some days I might be 500 feet behind another truck but as people merge and I keep a safe gap. I can fall 1/3 mile or more behind easily . So now I suppose it wakes up the second driver??

    Right ? And we thought the pile ups on i80 was bad from all the drivers stacking up and driving in a pack... hmmmmm... what could go wrong ?

    Or just get with the program and legalize super b's. Probably be cheaper. Only 1 truck, 2 trailers. Could gross nearly 140k lbs.
